- In a medium sized saucepan, stir the sugar, flour, cornstarch and gelatin together. Add the eggs and beat until clean. Beat in the milk. Cook over medium warmth, stirring now and again until thickened, approximately 3 to 5 mins. Stir inside the butter and the vanilla. Let cool and kick back till bloodless.
